The only time I've had the exploit fail was when I had already ran HBL all other attempts (including several coldboots) worked exactly as shown in the video. I also tried messing around in /meta to get rid of the Brain Age icons however these files appear to be sigchecked and you'll get a message about the application's data being corrupt. Reboot the console a few times (to be safe) and you're done! Opening Brain Age should drop you through to HBL.Īt present, nobody's tried to use system.xml to boot HBL when the Wii U turns on - this has its own host of problems, most notably that you won't be able to get to the HOME menu ( /u/vgmoose had lots of fun with redNAND and Wind Waker - trying to close the game would open it again). Simply run "make" in the haxchi folder to build a rom.zip, then boot up wupserver and copy in the new file exactly as shown in the README (the titleIDs are all correct, at least they were on my system). You'll need to start by downloading FIX94's version of haxchi and compiling it it's similar to wupserver in that you'll need armips and devkitPro. FIX94 has updated everything to work on all console regions as of v1.1!īasically, you need working copy of wupserver and not much else.
